Ok let's see - we have an image hosted on a profile that is 1 day old and asks you to visit a website with a strange url with a promise of a financial reward on an another website. How do you even imagine that would work? And now, of course, people start crying that their computers got infected with malware. Which is great - every genius who fell for this obvious phishing scam deserved it. I hope your shitty computer burns and you along with it.

Opinions are a Dangerous thing: Art StylesThis isn't about narking on anyone no, infact this is just my own muses really! You could say this is a journal for ENCOURAGEMENT! *SHINES*
I find sticking to one style restrictive if you are a beginning/moderate artist! (even professionals I might say! though I can't speak for everyone)
Having a distinctive look on how your art is done and produced is understandable and its a desire to appear unique to the point some one can just SEE your work and instantly think 'Oh! that's Ten-days!' or something along the line. However, when you are trying to find who you are and what kind of art you are to produce, I recommend trying, well, a lot of different things! Different styles, mixing styles, different colouring techinque, brushes, tools, shading. Don't feel dependant on what you are already doing and don't feel pressured by people just for trying new things!
Push out of your comfort zone. Can't draw hands? don't avoid it! draw the heck out of them! (how else are you going to learn?)

What I personally find the hardest to draw is feet and hands. I found that with a lot of practice and a lot of frustrating mistakes my feet and hands actually look at the very least almost the way i want them to be.
Now my favorite Style of drawing is Anime or sometimes semi-realism, and i find that by doing studies of the more traditional style realism actually helps improve my anime pictures greatly. For instance i would practice drawing my hands and feet in different positions holding different things and from different angles. I also find it extremely helpful while i'm drawing and i'm having a particularly hard time drawing a hand or a foot in a certain position i will stop for a

New Years and Birthday!

I hope everyone had a great New Year's celebration and that people enjoyed their first day of 2012! Minus the fact that I'm dreadfully sick still, mine was alright. I brought in the New Year by playing Bomberman and Capcom vs Marvel since I'm an advivd video game person (gotta love my video games). So anyways, this year, which is rare for me, I decided to make some resolutions for myself:

New Years Resolutions

• Get back down to 120lbs - Over the corse of last year, I ended up putting on some weight but didn't have much time to work it off.

• Join a local anime club for those who are 20 years and older
• Complete at least one artwork a month
• Continue to work on my original stories and see if I can get one completed

For those who are waiting on commissions from me, I promise that they are coming. Unfortunately there are some that are on the drive of the "lemon" computer and I still have to grab the files off of that before I send that computer back to HP. So as of right now, I am working on my personal projects because I'm so inspired to draw art once again. I am so sorry that it is taking so long but once I get the files again, I will start doing some Livestream sessions.

And today, I am officially 29 years old. That's right, January 2nd is my birthday! XD While most people start not looking forward to this age because it means you're about to enter your thirties, I'm not really having a problem with it. To me, age is a number that you can either have it dominate your life or you can have your mind dominate your life - I choosed my mind. I still feel really young, even though sometimes I will tell people that they make me feel old out of fun but I try to not let the "age" bring me down.

So here's to 2012 and hopefully a wonderful year of art! ^^
